WESTERN ACUPUNCTURE AND DRY NEEDLING TECHNIQUES
Acupuncture works most affectively for most musculoskeletal conditions; it is a great tool to use alongside manual therapy treatment. Dry needling can often be confused with acupuncture but affectively they are quite different. There are many uses for acupuncture please look at the PAANZ website, but the main affects are:
- Pain relief and pain management for acute and ongoing conditions.
- Reduces inflammation and facilitates healing of soft tissues.
- Promoting relaxation and improved sleep patterns.

CLINICAL PILATES AND SPORTS REHABILITATION EXERCISE PROGRAMMES
Clinical Pilates exercises are specific to the functional condition and structured in levels of difficulty between 1-5. This means you can match the level of exercise to your functional ability. Essentially, it is a system of safe and effective exercises which meets your level of ability allowing progression to take place. Clinical Pilates is used by Mission Physio to treat a wide range of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Programs are formulated and sent to your personal email using the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI). Classes are running on a Tuesday morning at 8.30-9.15 am from the Cornerstone Church Kerikeri.
